Happy New Year from Warploque Miniatures! And a look at the Peagryph...
over 4 years ago – Wed, Jan 01, 2020 at 03:56:38 PM

Ho there, Arcfans!

I hope you all had a lovely time last night welcoming in the new decade! We sure did, and I'm sure many of you will be feeling as delicate today as I am...

However, I'm already back at my desk sculpting, and I bring you a picture of the latest model I've sculpted - the Peagryph!

This guy has been super popular on the pledge manager, and I hope you all like the finished sculpt.

Speaking of finished sculpts, I'm well on my way to getting all of the miniatures finished in good time. In the past two months since the end of the campaign, I've sculpted or finished over 20 miniatures, and now there are only 10 left to do. Most of these have already had the moulds made for them, and production has already started. I'll be posting piccies of these over the next few weeks as I start getting paint on them!

Stay tuned for more updates,

- Alex

Collecting miniatures at the ArcWorlde Weekender
over 4 years ago – Sun, Dec 22, 2019 at 01:23:51 PM

Ho, ho, ho there, ArcFans!

Hope you are all well, and enjoying the festive period!

We are currently in the process of sorting out some of the ArcWorlde: Second Edition miniatures for Kickstarter backers to pick up at the ArcWorlde Weekender 2020 - if you would like to collect what we've gotten ready of your pledge at the weekend, please make sure you have bought a ticket by TONIGHT, so it gives us enough time to prepare them. 😁

You can buy yourself a ticket on the pledge manager, or on the Warploque Miniatures website: https://www.warploqueminiatures.com/product-page/arcworlde-weekender-2020-ticket

We are hoping to see quite a few of you there - so far there are 12 tickets sold, and we have lots and lots of activities planned. It'll be an excellent weekend!

Cheers,

- Alex

over 4 years ago – Fri, Dec 13, 2019 at 01:02:37 PM

Ho there, ArcFans! Hope you are all well.

A big update on the Halfling Thing-Flinger sculpt. We are in the endgame now, it's been a tough old slog, but I'm really happy with the result. Now for final cutting and polishing! :D

Who's looking forward to getting their grubby mitts on this beast?

Cheers,

- Alex

Troggles and Grifflings!
over 4 years ago – Mon, Dec 09, 2019 at 12:15:43 PM

Ho there, ArcFans!

Hope you are all doing well, and enjoying the festive period!

So between me cracking on with sculpting all the miniatures for the campaign, I've had a little time to paint a few of the first casts coming back from our glamorous resin caster, Rob.

Here's two of the critters you saw on the Kickstarter - a Griffling and a Troggle!

What do you think? Who's looking forward to seeing the rest of these little guys?

Cheers,

- Alex

ArcWorlde Weekender News - Venue Announcement
over 4 years ago – Tue, Nov 26, 2019 at 07:12:22 PM

Ho there, Arcfans!

In this, the second update of the night (you lucky sausages), I'm delighted to let you know that we've got a venue sorted for the ArcWorlde Weekend!

The ArcWorlde Weekend will be hosted at BACKLIT, a contemporary art space located just outside of he centre of Nottingham. It's a wonderful venue, with lots of room and located near lots of amenities, and as such I'm very happy that everything has gone through.

Accommodation for the weekend

There are loads of hotels and such in Nottingham, so accommodation isn't difficult to find. However, if you are travelling on your own you may prefer to share with fellow Arcfans to cut the costs!

If you are interested in sharing rooms, please comment either here or on the Facebook group, and I'm sure you can find others to share with you.

A full itinerary of the weekend will be posted soon, but expect lots of activities and socials! It's gonna be a great time.

Cheers!

- Alex
