Casting has started, and my Adventures in Sri Lanka

Ho there, ArcFans!

Hope you are all doing splendidly.

Just this very second I've gotten back to our villa after 3 days on the road seeing the sights of Sri Lanka! We've had lots of adventures, with loads of cool things seen, but I think my favourite part was the safari. I take a lot of inspiration for my creatures from real life animals, and it was great to see some of them in the wild!

You might even recognize some familiar faces...

Back to ArcWorlde news...

Anyway, enough of my adventures. Back to more pressing matters! The campaign has barely been finished, but our top man Rob (my dad) has been busy away, casting up all these miniatures you lovely lot have pledged for.

One of the first resin casts of The Explorer and his Enchanted Journal, ready for a final polish before being bagged up ready to be put in a happy pledge box.

WE DID IT!

A massive thank you to every single one of you who helped to make this Kickstarter the way it was. It's performed above and beyond what I could have hoped for, and I am so excited to make ArcWorlde: Second Edition a reality.

So, what's next?

I'm actually writing to you now from Sri Lanka, where I've been with my partner and her family for the past few days. It's 12.30am on Saturday morning, and we are getting up at 5am to go on an elephant safari, so I guess I'll be celebrating the success of the campaign by seeing some real-life creatures, not just the ones I sculpt for you!

Once I get back on Thursday, it's straight back to the sculpting desk. It looks like I've got a lot of work ahead of me...

Once again thank you to all of you. In addition, I would like to thank my demo team Adam, Dagfinn, Ian and Jacko - you guys have been invaluable throughout this whole process, and ArcWorlde: Second Edition wouldn't be the way it is without your continuing guidance. 

And of course, I would like to thank my wonderful parents, Rob and Dawn, for being by my side the whole time. Warploque is the way it is today because of their love, care and dedication, and I can't thank you both enough for everything you have done for me.

Well, it's time for me to sign off and hit the hay. It's been wonderful having you all on board these past 31 days, and I hope you enjoy the next few months of updates, stories and, of course, those parcels of miniatures on your doorstep next year.

Just over 2 Hours to go, and the Faery Dragon is now available!

What a fabulous few hours! We've just managed to hit £30k, which means the Faery Dragon has been unlocked!

She can now be added to your pledges.

So, what's next?

After an amazing campaign, I am delighted to announce that we have unlocked every single stretch goal I had planned. This is wonderful news, and I honestly cannot be happier. 

Thank you all for your support in bringing ArcWorlde: Second Edition to life - I'm going to be a busy boy indeed!

Almost 24 hours to go until the end of the campaign... wow!

Here's a little round-up of the ArcWorlde news today.

The Dragon's Horde Pledge

Now that almost all of the stretch goals have been unlocked, I've been able to upload The Dragon's Horde pledge. 

As said in the info, it's an opportunity to grab everything on the Kickstarter in one fell swoop, rather than faffing about with add-ons in the pledge manager. You also get a tidy little saving, too!

The Faery Dragon

Work continues on the Faery Dragon, my final little surprise for you all of the campaign:

 She still has a long way to come, but I'm loving how she's turning out.

Social Media Presence

Leading up to the final hours of the campaign, any shares on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other social media spaces would be a huge help! I'm incredibly happy with how the campaign has gone, but some extra backers at the end to unlock those final stretch goals would be marvelous.
