Ho there, ArcFans!
I hope you are all well, and that you are keeping yourselves busy over these strange weeks.
I bring good tidings indeed! Despite the 'Rona, Team Warploque (aka my wonderful parents) have started single-handedly packing all of the ArcWorlde: Second Edition parcels. This is taking some time, as I can be there to pack alongside them, but I am delighted to announce that the first batch of parcels have been sent today.
Contained within those humble bin liners are the first 100(ish) of the UK backers parcels who filled out the pledge manager. My parents have asked me to let you know that they are working through the list as fast as they can, and should be able to start packing the international parcels soon. What heroes!
The Mysterious Case of the Missing Map
For those of you who will be receiving their parcels in the next few days, you may notice that the ArcWorlde Map is indeed missing. This is due to a hold up at the printing house I use, and nothing to be worried about. I didn't want the shipment to be held up at all, so we'll be sending those to you separately when we receive them this week.
The ArcWorlde: Second Edition Advanced Rules
Some of you may also be wondering where the Advanced Rules booklet is. As stated in the campaign, this project will take a little longer than the main batch, as lots of writing and playtesting is needed for the more complex parts of the game. I'll be working on the first Alpha draft of the Advanced Rules over the coming weeks alongside my other projects, and I hope to release a PDF version for you all to download soon.
In terms of when it is likely to go to print, I am hoping for it to have a few months of playtesting, so plans are to have it shipped to you all before the end of the year. I'll keep you all updated over the coming months on the progression of the actually printed book, but you'll all have campaign rules to play with soon!
Tuesday ArcWorlde Hobby Hangout
And a final note, do come and hang out with me tonight on YouTube whilst I sculpt the next miniatures for ArcWorlde!
Cheers,
- Alex
